Just a few traces of things I’m doing elsewhere on the net:

A while back, I contributed a text to the website of a terrific new organisation, the Emerging Arts Professional Network. Their website is a treasure trove for the young arts professional, providing a range of things from regular podcasts with mentors in the field, to blog posts on monthly topics, to a great links directory. My article describes (in hopefully witty and definitely intimate detail) my career path from Canada to Scotland. Click on over and give it a read.

Also, this month I’m an invited writer for a project by VJ Theory. They have been producing themed blogs on various issues pertinent to the creation and reception of live visuals. The theme for this month’s blog is “Interactors, audiences and participants“. The blog will be open for posts from the invited writers and comments from everyone until the 31st of September. After that, it will be closed and the resultant text compiled and available online at the VJ Theory website. Check it out, and comment liberally!

The sheer volume of items on the Spacing Wire make it hard to keep up, and so perhaps you missed my article about the Mapping the City exhibition that was at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Give it a read, and please comment – especially if you saw the exhibition yourself.

And last but not least, the most recent articles I wrote for Rhizome News were about the irational.org exhibition at the CCA in Glasgow, and the David Rokeby exhibition that is touring the UK. Perhaps this is a good time to ask if you are a Rhizome member, and also if you are subscribed to the Rhizome News service? Click the links to find out more about both of those things.
