		<description>Wow... the Pac-Mondrian is a little disturbing, though at least the user is not &quot;authoring&quot; a Mondrian-like piece as in the Mine Control work.... and also this group tries to link Mondrian&#039;s interest in music with the work they are creating.  Still, it seems to trivialize Mondrian somewhat.  I guess it&#039;s indicative of a younger generation of artists that remixes what they learned in History of Art 101 with pop culture nostalgia.   Hmmm.  Will meditate on this.

Yes -- it&#039;s the classic problem (error) of the technologist desperately seeking &quot;content&quot; to showcase her creation.  I appreciate the technology which Mine Control has developed, and I might enjoy the the physical interaction with their pieces, but -- with the Mondrian-y and Calder-y pieces -- it ends there.      

Now I&#039;m wondering who *would* like those pieces -- I mean, like them more than the older ones (ie Shadow, or Sand)...?  Certainly not fans of Mondrian and Calder... so who were these created for?
